Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with residents of the area in Petrela on Monday. In his speech, Rama focused on the Democratic Party's contract with an American lobbying company in the US.

Rama said that Albanians saw an unbelievable swamp contract, referring to the opposition, which, according to him, was done to clear the stain of the leading democrat.

Rama said he has suspicious thoughts regarding the information that the money was paid by Albanian patriots in the US.

Rama also drew a parallel with the event when former DP leader Lulzim Basha was accused of embezzling $500,000.  

"Yesterday, Albanians saw an incredible swamp contract. About 6 million dollars that were declared under American law. They were declared as payment by the swamp to clean the mark from the swamp owl's forehead.

Meanwhile, it has been said that this contract is financed by a group of patriots.

It reminds me of the old days of corrupt prosecutors and corrupt officials who had no way to justify their wealth.

Same with these patriots.

But anyway, even if these patriots exist, a normal mind doubts it.
