Project for the former Autotractor Plant/ Hoxha responds to the opposition:

This Monday, the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha, was at the former Autotraktor Factory in Tirana, where the launch of a project for the revival of the military industry was announced. During his speech, the minister, who is also the political leader of Unit 1 in Tirana, commented on the opposition's accusations that this project will pose a risk.

Hoxha said that this project is being attacked today by the opposition, which itself has neither ideas nor vision.

Hoxha said he was concerned by the misinformation that has been spread regarding this project.

Hoxha added that vehicles and uniforms will be produced, not bombs and explosives.

"We are here for the construction of a high-tech plant between Kayo and Timak companies, involving serious investment in modern and innovative technology for the production of military vehicles and high-quality uniforms for the Armed Forces and the Police. An important economic investment for the entire country, but for Unit 1, a transformative project that will bring development and create jobs. This project is just one of dozens of transformative projects, part of the Albania 2030 vision.

As has happened before, and for other projects that have transformed this country, this project is also being attacked today by the opposition, which itself has no idea or vision, trying to turn the community against good works that are being done through deception and lies. I am aware that many residents may be concerned by the misinformation that has been spread regarding this project, so as your representative, I want to assure you that there is nothing to worry about; vehicles and uniforms will be produced here, not bombs and explosives.

"Shkoza has no reason to worry but every reason to welcome this project that will be implemented according to the highest standards of technical safety and environmental protection," said Hoxha. /CNA
