"Rama did not compensate for the euro"/ Berisha: He has devalued the

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a meeting with the tailoring business this Monday. In his speech, Berisha said that Prime Minister Edi Rama, instead of compensating for the falling euro, came up with the idea that tailoring businesses are third-world enterprises.

Berisha said that Rama has undertaken a tour of banalities, undermining the real issues.

Berisha said that there will also be changes in the price of water and electricity.

"Instead of compensating for the falling euro, Edi Rama came up with the idea that the fasons are enterprises for the third world. Order him to come here and see what the third world is in your hands. The fasons are production, employment and are national pride. This is the truth.

And tailors have a specific job. They employ many more women than men overall due to the demands, attention, concentration, and quality that tailoring requires.

He has undertaken a tour of banalities, with which he will devalue all the major problems created today for entrepreneurship. He will cover up the massive bankruptcies.

From 2023 to 2024, exports in Albania have decreased by 32 percent. So, almost a third of jobs have been destroyed. A third of the salaries that used to come into families are no longer there.

Every country has an export protection fund. When it sees difficulties in export enterprises, it comes to their aid because it is production, wages, families...

And this does not happen. He continues his cycle with a miserable vocabulary of wretchedness, but this situation ends on May 11th.

I guarantee you that we will compensate for every penny lost in euros. We will sell energy for 6 lek out of the 18 that they buy today. We will halve the price of water. Every type of rent will be halved and municipalities will never be able to impose taxes above 1 percent of turnover. So that even entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to expand, invest, increase salaries and hire more.

Therefore, I invite you to present our program to every family member, every person you know who is still undecided, in these remaining 12 days, because this program is for every Albanian.

We have said it and we say it, we will set the minimum living wage for every pensioner with a pension below 200 euros, for every unemployed person, for every person on economic assistance, for every child with a single parent and for students with scholarships. In this way, we give a bigger breather. We will reimburse 100 percent of the list of medicines that the Italian Republic reimburses. We will set the bonus for the first child at 70 euros, for the second child at 60 euros, for the third child from birth to 23 years old. We will do everything to return as many Albanians as possible", - said Berisha. /CNA
