More than one source within the DP explains that Gazment Bardhi has received indications from people connected to the SP, regarding inaccuracies and vote manipulation for candidates on the SP's open list.

The information conveyed to Bardhi went so far as to assure the latter that a recount of votes for the entire district would result in the removal of one mandate for the SP in that district.

The source of information must have been reliable for Bardhi.

And to be credible, the person who communicated in person, or through his or her dummies, must have some importance in the SP.

Also, the originator of the suggestion must have known how to combine Bardhi's anger with his own interests over the candidate who was risking his mandate if the SP lost a mandate.  It is not believed that he was throwing himself into the fire for Gazin.

These are not games that are played routinely, so we cannot imagine that a person engaged at the local level would have the courage to cooperate with the opposition at this level.

Even if the person who contacted Bardhi was like that, he certainly had the support, if not the use, of a person at a central level in the SP.
