Rama criticizes local government: The approach of the structures to renting

Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his closing speech at the dialogue on 'Agriculture and Rural Development', also expressed criticism towards local government institutions.

Rama said that regarding problems with livestock, the approach of local government structures to renting pastures was scandalous.

"It was terrible to hear the experiences of livestock farmers about renting pastures, the approach of local government structures to renting pastures was scandalous. In addition to the efforts that livestock farmers must make in the conditions of a sector that has many problems, they must also cope with the bureaucracy at the local level and we must change it immediately. We must beg the livestock farmers, not have them beg us for the pasture contract. The issue of a livestock package should be discussed and we should invite them to Çajup when we have it ready", said Rama. /CNA
