DP washes hands, Gaz Bardhi requested recount for Fier

Before the ink on the results of the Fier district vote recount has dried, the intrigues with which Gaz Bardhi manipulated the opening of the Fier ballot boxes have begun to emerge in the DP.

According to reliable sources, the promoter of the opening of the Fier boxes was only Gaz Bardhi.

He seems to have had information from people in the Socialist Party, disaffected with the party and with ties to the Fier region, that the preferred candidates had their votes added in the count.

From the information provided, the informant assured that the votes were invalid and their invalidity led to the removal of a mandate for the Socialist Party.

After this, Gaz Bardhi (with Zegjinena in mind), but without the support of the DP for opening the boxes in Fier as well, communicated with Adriatik Lapaj, passing on to him "secure" information and adding that the removal of the mandate for the SP could lead to a loss for Lapaj's list.

Adriatik Lapaj accepted the scheme and then Gaz Bardhi communicated with Noka and Berisha to assure them that the recount would remove one SP mandate in Fier.

Apparently, the introduction into the Adriatic Scheme was made by Gaz Bardhi, the latter knowing about Lapaj's previous reports of cooperation with the DP.

Everything would be presented as a defense and support of the principles of transparency from anyone who asked for it.

After convincing the DP that the recount would remove one SP mandate, with the intervention of Gaz Bardhi, the two DP members in the CEC became part of the alla'Gazmend game and demanded the opening of all the ballot boxes in Fier.

A game that is costing Albanians 200,000 euros, while costing the DP another grand loss./ CNA
