NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte participated in the 3rd Cyber ??Defense Conference via video message.
Rutte stated that today the keyboard is a weapon of war, but NATO is becoming stronger.
The head of NATO stated that in the alliance, no one stands alone, but all countries are together against anyone who seeks to harm.
"Good morning to everyone in Tirana!
It is a great pleasure to address the conference and I regret that I cannot be present.
Today, the keyboard is a weapon of war aimed at each of us. In response to espionage and digital attacks, NATO is becoming stronger. Violation of cyberspace can activate Article 5.
We have conducted training and are establishing a command for cyber attacks.
Civilian personnel from across NATO are gathered there.
In The Hague we agreed that we would increase spending by 5%.
