"Time waits for nothing"/ Rama at the Ambassadors' Conference:

Prime Minister Edi Rama was present this Monday at the Ambassadors' Conference that began today in Tirana and will be held for three consecutive days.

In his speech, Rama focused on the EU integration journey, which he considered a historic moment for the country.

Rama emphasized that in the next four years of his mandate, not a single day should be wasted in preparing the ground for the membership decision.

"This year's conference comes at a historic moment for the EU's much-dreamed-of journey and without any doubt, all the forces of the diplomatic service must focus first and foremost on this historic objective, which is closer than ever before, and the successful completion of the negotiation process."

These 4 years, which coincide with this agenda, are 4 years where not a single day should be wasted, because time waits for nothing, to prepare the ground for the decision that the EC will make.

As for the negotiations, they are conducted on a bilateral basis. The atmosphere around them has its own importance and there are definitely different factors. The daily work of our diplomatic corps and the need to nurture positivity is important.

The conference takes place at a time when Albania's profile is on the rise, a developing reality and a reliable partner in the region and international tables, and is an asset that should be exploited as part of 'Albania 2030'.

"There is a need to further strengthen our role and work as a diplomatic service and increase the intensity of communications, not only with governments, but with all political actors and factors," Rama said./CNA
