The Political Leader of the PD for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, says in a post on social networks that the criminal organization "5D", headed by the capo gang Erion Veliaj, will be dissolved until the end.

Regarding today's protest of the opposition, he clarifies that the citizens do not only demand the overthrow of a government, but we must dismantle a political philosophy, which is based on the extortion of national wealth, property and citizens' taxes, in order to buy power again with this money .

Kelliçi emphasizes that they will work to present to the citizens, a new project, a new governing philosophy.

The Criminal Organization (financial and political) 5D, headed by the capo gang Erion Veliaj, will be completely disbanded. Those responsible for stealing our taxes, the actual owner of Tirana's incinerator, the owner of the 15 million euro hotel in Durrës, will answer to the people of Tirana and not only. Citizens today demand the removal from office of the most dignified representative of a power degraded by theft, abuse, waste and greed to control everything.

The mechanism of extortion of our taxes, by a bunch of public officials, like the case we saw with the 5D file was really shocking. Not simply in terms of the amount of money stolen, but more in flagranteness, in the manner of the theft. They have treated the municipality and our taxes like thugs who rob a bank, and then sit down and share the looted money under the fumes of alcohol and drugs.
They dealt with power like beasts tearing at their prey. Because that's how they took power, they didn't earn it, they stole power and thought it was already their property.
We are not here to demand the replacement of one mayor with another. Nor the overthrow of a government, to replace it with the next government. We do not simply want the overthrow of a government. We must do much more than that, we must dismantle a political philosophy, which is based on the extortion of the national wealth, property and taxes of the citizens, to buy power again with this money.

We will not be satisfied with denunciations and we should not celebrate arrests. We must work seriously to present a new project to the citizens. Not a new mayor and a new prime minister, but a new governing philosophy. The opposite of this bastard model we are up against today. We will make it together./CNA
