DP candidate for Tirana Municipality/Bardhi gives details: A man who enjoys broad support

The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, spoke in a television appearance about the opposition candidate in the local elections for the Municipality of Tirana.

Bardhi said that as a candidate from the opposition, a name that enjoys broad support is needed and suggested that all those seeking change in the Municipality of Tirana be on a common candidate.

Further, Bardhi said that he does not agree that the joint candidate should be an apolitical figure.

Regarding a possible name from the DP and the refusal of some political figures to run, Bardhi said that initially the possible names will be tested and then it will be seen which of them shows interest.

" We need a person who enjoys broad support. Whoever wants change in the Municipality of Tirana, let's unite in a common candidate. I do not agree that it should be apolitical. Possible names will be tested and then it will be seen who shows interest in running ," said Bardhi./ CNA
