Independent MP/ Mesila Doda emerged: I will continue to be a representative of

MP Mesila Doda has reacted after the decision to run as an independent candidate at the start of the new legislature.

In a media statement, Doda stated that despite the decision, she will continue to be an opposition MP and PDIU.

Doda adds that he will continue to uphold the causes of the groups he is a part of.

"I am a member of parliament for the opposition and the PDIU. I have not been consulted on the configurations of the groups that have been created. I will continue to uphold the causes of the opposition and the PDIU. There is no joint opposition group like there was in the elections where it would be normal for us all to be part of it," Doda said. /CNA
