EU Integration/ Dhuka reveals the government's ambition for the new

Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka has stated that Albania's ambition is to be technically ready in 2026 with the conditions for completing 12-16 chapters and to complete the remaining chapters within 2027.

"During March, member states are discussing Albania's fulfillment of the conditions, we are waiting for the commission, Albania has fulfilled 24 intermediate conditions. Albania has received 101 conditions for the closure of negotiations after fulfilling the 24 intermediate conditions.

It has carefully planned the work to meet the conditions and has started the work to meet these conditions. We have the ambition to be technically ready with the conditions for 12-16 chapters by 2026 and with the remaining chapters by 2027. The work has already started. There are a number of laws that are very important because they have the European technical standard.

The burden on institutions is not the same. The ministry that bears the main burden is the Ministry of Economy.
