Peleshi shows the plan: Here's how territorial reform in minority

Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi revealed today that discussions on the Administrative-Territorial Reform have not yet reached a final version regarding minority municipalities in the country.

In a statement by Maliqi, Peleshi stated that there are several important elements that are being taken into consideration by the reform commission, such as cultural, ethnocultural and linguistic identity.

"We are not yet at a final version and I cannot say it now. But I can confirm that cultural, ethnocultural and linguistic identity is one of the important elements that must be taken into account and is being taken into consideration by the reform commission. It is undoubtedly one of the factors that must be taken into account. For us, the ethnocultural and linguistic mosaic is a value. In our region we have the Macedonian minority, which is a value for our region and must be preserved", said Peleshi. /CNA
