The meeting of the government cabinet and the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group has concluded. The meeting, held at the Brigades Palace, which began 6 hours ago, was held behind closed doors.
According to reports, there was a clash at the meeting between the Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations, Erjona Ismaili, and MP Elisa Spiropali, which also involved Prime Minister Edi Rama.
During the moment Ismaili was reporting, it is suspected that Spiropali laughed, while the minister addressed her with the words: "Ms. Spiropali doesn't know what she's laughing at."
At one point in the arguments between them, Prime Minister Rama intervened, reportedly warning Spiropali not to communicate. The discussion did not end there, as Rama then addressed Spiropali with the words: "Don't provoke me into throwing you out."
After the conclusion of the cabinet and group meeting, the Prime Minister attended the meeting of the Socialist Party Assembly at Unit No. 2 in the capital. /CNA
