Fredi Beleri reacted from the cell after Blerina Bala was installed in the Himarë Municipality as a commanding mayor.

"No law and no article of the Constitution foresees what is happening in Himarë Municipality", says Beleri in a reaction on social networks.

According to him, there is no practice that stipulates that the mayor is appointed by the party that lost the elections.

"Contrary to the law, appoint a new mayor, as the Prefect also declared, and interpret the law as you see fit. You are not interested in the law, but you are only interested in not swearing, even for a single hour, the one who was elected mayor in accordance with Article 109 of the Constitution. For you, the law is just a piece of grocery paper," he writes.

According to the latter, Beleri started with electoral speeches promising property titles. He also says that the chaos and absurdity will end when he is allowed to be sworn in as the mayor of Himara, a request that the court has rejected.

We recall that Beleri was arrested two days before the local elections last May and was sentenced to two years in prison for buying votes.

Based on this situation, Jorgo Goro continued to hold the office, who resigned a few days ago after being arrested for abuse of office, because he favored the partner of former minister Olta Xhaçka to benefit from a significant area of ??state land in Himara./ CNA
