The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, defended the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, this Friday.

He did this during the night speech before the protesters on "Mustafa Matohiti" street, as he commented on the arrests of directors by order of SPAK.

Berisha said that Veliaj and his directors have stolen, but raised allegations that their corruption is nothing compared to that of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

With this pretext, the leader of the DP shifted his attention to Rama, whom he declared stole more than the mayor of Tirana with the arrested directors.
