"The finger will be placed in the wound"/ Strazimir: Internationals

The elected MP of the Democratic Party, Genc Strazimiri, said today that the denunciation of the electoral farce by the DP to several international organizations and institutions will cause their final report to emphasize the 'wound' of the May 11 elections.

In an interview with 'Syri Tv', Strazimir stated that this situation will no longer be in the hands of bureaucrats, but has passed to political levels and there will be a political decision on the situation in Albania.

"Europe has expressed itself even before the elections through political organizations, international right-wing umbrellas, including European ones within it. I am talking about the European People's Party which is the majority in the European Parliament, it has expressed itself through the preliminary report of the OSCE-ODIHR findings and in fact it is a much broader mission than the OSCE-ODIHR because it is the EP, the EC and several other European organizations and it has expressed itself clearly. Just as it was expressed with the resolution after the elections with the request to undertake a fact-finding mission in Albania by the EPP which, let me emphasize, is the leading majority of the EP. Yesterday was one of the latest episodes of the fact that Europe is certainly interested in the situation in Albania. The news from yesterday and the most recent of the news that I mentioned, is the fact that this situation in Albania will no longer be in the hands of bureaucrats who only fill tons of papers saying that much has been done but much remains to be done, but of course it has passed to political levels and there will be a political decision on the situation in Albania. "The finger will be placed on the wound. Especially with the discussions that took place yesterday and I have full confidence in the autopsy of these elections that the elections are now dead. But the autopsy will be better done in the final report of international observers", - said Strazimiri. /CNA
