Economics expert Brisida Shehaj has reacted to the derogatory language used by arrested mayor Erion Veliaj towards lawyer Adriana Kalaja.

Shehaj said that there should have been a harsh reaction from the ladies in the Assembly for the insults and curses that were thrown by Veliaj towards Adriana Kalasa and not to stand by and cheer the regime on.

"Yesterday in an interview Erion Veliaj decided to insult Lawyer Adriana Kalaja with very harsh words. For this reason, I am sharing a status of Adriana herself and in response to the vulgar vocabulary used by Veliaj.

But beyond the insults that women in the opposition have been enduring for years, what I want to say is where are these representatives of NGOs for the protection of women.
