March 1st primaries in the Democratic Party / Jola Hysaj formalizes her

Democratic Party member Jola Hysaj, through an announcement on social media, has formalized her candidacy in the March 1st primaries.

Hysaj calls on the members of the DP of the Durrës district to vote for her, for her contribution for more than 10 years in structures such as: the Youth Forum in Durrës, the National Council and member of the Presidency.

"Honorable members of the Democratic Party of Durrës Region, of the Durrës, Shijak, Krujë and Fushë-Krujë branches,

I am Jola Hysaj, or as many of you know me, Jola of the DP. I am not an unknown name to you, because for almost 20 years I have grown and formed in this party, sharing with you the challenges and battles for a fairer Albania. From a simple member, to vice president of the Youth Forum in Durres, member of the National Council for more than 10 years, to my position today as a member of the Presidency and Secretary for Public Relations in the Democratic Party of Albania, I have worked with dedication and integrity, defending the principles of democracy and freedom. I come from a family with history and sacrifice. As the granddaughter and daughter of the persecuted Metalla and Ballanca families, I know what injustice, persecution and lack of freedom mean. Precisely for this reason, my political engagement has been and remains a battle for dignity and rights. Today, Albania needs a real change. There is a need for politics with a human dimension, for a politics that puts the citizen at the center and not personal and clientelistic interests. This is my mission! On March 1st, the Democratic Party of Durrës District Primary Elections will be held. I am running with the ordinal number 19 and I ask for your support to be the true voice of the citizens in Parliament. I want my children and your children to grow up in an Albania where opportunities do not belong to just a handful of people, but to every honest family that works for a better life. I want an Albania where you are not forced to leave to secure a better future. I want a Durrës that is not for sale, but develops with dignity. On March 1st, decide for a different politics!
