The opposition demands the dismissal of the collaborator of the structured group

The DP has brought to Parliament today the issue of UBT rector Fatbardh Sallaku, who the day before held a hearing with the SP parliamentary group and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, has called on President Bajram Begaj to immediately dismiss rector Fatbardh Sallaku.

"The rector who does not know the constitution and law should be dismissed immediately," said Bardhi.

CNA previously reported that Fatbardh Sallaku signed an agreement with the Tirana ghost incinerator company, “Integrated Energy.” Sallaku reportedly received money from the incinerator company at the time of the agreement.

Even according to the rector, the company had carried out a correct waste management. So, Fatbardh Sallaku is the collaborator of the structured criminal group on the run and declared wanted by the justice system.

Furthermore, CNA denounced another scandal with the rector of UBT, who was unemployed and worked as an economist for a firm, which he had then blessed with funds through UBT./ CNA
