Elon Musk's Department: USAID and Soros Annihilated the Opposition in

The US Department of Government Efficiency, led by Trump confidant Elon Musk, has held a hearing on what they describe as the misuse of USAID money around the world to influence American interests. In the more than two-hour long hearing, where DOGE officials report, Albania is mentioned twice.


“Soros’s Open Society Foundation and USAID jointly funded the East-West Institute. Among other things, the institute introduced changes to the court system in Albania that, among other things, resulted in the imprisonment of opposition leader Sali Berisha and the elimination of opposition to socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama,” says one of the reporters.


We recall that at the East-West Institute, the director of the Civil Society program is Delina Fico, the former partner of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

She was accused days ago by Sali Berisha of embezzling USAID funds to influence reform in the justice system and to attack the opposition.

Following this reporting, another DOGE representative on this committee asks the question: "Why is USAID involved in financing judicial changes in Albania, which resulted in the imprisonment of the opposition leader in Albania?"


Donald Trump's new administration has blocked USAID funds and is conducting a broad audit of all programs, where reports so far have found numerous misuses of American taxpayer money.
