Last week of diaspora registration/ Balla: Be part of the European vision

The leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, has shared a video message in which he once again calls on immigrants to register for the May 11 elections, in the remaining 6 days.

Balla also shows a model on how to apply and establish the correct address, referring to the obstacles that the Diaspora has encountered.

" The numbers so far are very good, beyond all expectations, but we have time, there are at least 6 more days besides today that can be used by you to register as voters from abroad."

Here I have a copy of an Italian identity card to establish the address of residence in Italy. The application would have no problem and would be approved if you would include the back page, where the person's address is located and of course the name.

But our compatriots put the first page, where in fact your name and photo are, but on the first page of the Italian identity card there is no address. Therefore, please, those of you whose application has been rejected, it is enough to restore only the back page of the Italian identity card. For everyone else, mainly the issue of address remains one of the main reasons for rejection. Never forget that the address of the document you put, which can be an electricity bill, drinking water bill, internet bill, gas bill or anything else, must correspond to the address you put at the end of the application, which is also the address to which the Central Election Commission will send you the ballot by mail.

Therefore, dear sisters and brothers, the remaining 6 days, in addition to today, should be used to the maximum by you to register as voters from abroad. It is a historic moment for our common Albania, as we prepare for our new mandate that we begin together on May 11. Let us make Albania a member of the European Union and a large part of you who are currently living as members of the European Union in their respective countries, have the golden opportunity to become part of our vision for Albania 2030, by voting and supporting the Socialist Party and Edi Rama.
