The official of the "Euro-Atlantic Democrats" party, Taulanda Jupi, said today that the Euro-Atlantic Democrats are for an opposition front that unites all opposition flows with the aim of achieving victory in the parliamentary elections of May 11.

In an interview, Jupi said that it is an important moment for the way opposition political forces are approaching coalitions.

Regarding the reason why Lulzim Basha registered the party in the name of former DP MP Endri Hasa, Jupi said that the solution for registration with Edi Hasa is due to a legal technicality, since Basha is a leader and will run in Tirana.

"We will be in the elections on May 11, but there are some dynamics that are attracting attention. It is an important moment, for the way opposition political forces are approaching coalitions.

I have also requested this from all opposition streams. I have contacted many leaders of opposition parties. Beyond political rhetoric, they have the responsibility to offer citizens a credible alternative. We are united by many things such as: being on the side of SPAK, open lists, being allies with the EU, the USA and Great Britain.

"We should not stop at names. Basha continues the legal battle, but the solution for registration with Edi Hasa is for a legal technicality. Basha is a leader and will compete in Tirana", said Jupi. /CNA
