Extension of the deadline for identification means/ Minister Hoxha: It is important for the May 11 elections

Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha, in his speech in the Assembly during the plenary session, said today that the extension of the deadline for identification means is a guarantee of the rights of Albanians living abroad who want to vote in the May 11 elections.

Hoxha said that the diaspora makes an extraordinary contribution in economic and cultural terms.

The minister added that this step is necessary for 520 thousand Albanians who want to vote.

"After discussions in parliamentary committees, the expiration date of identification means should be extended."
