"After the Supreme Court, we turn to Strasbourg"/ Meta sends an audio

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has sent an audio message from prison. Following the decision given today by the Supreme Court to keep him in prison, Meta has reacted from his prison cell.

Meta says that now, after the Supreme Court, he will turn to the Strasbourg Court.

Meta said that May 11 will be a historic day, as we will separate ourselves from Rama's drug regime and drug justice.

Meta also made a call for Albanians in the diaspora to register and participate in the May 11 elections.

"Dear friends,

Make Albania great forever. This is our pledge. This is our commitment.

On May 11, the historic day when we will separate ourselves from the narco-regime, but also its narco-justice.

Today, we took a positive step in the Meta case, because we also passed a fictitious obstacle, the Supreme Court, which does not exist, in order to move more quickly towards the Strasbourg Court.

Without any discussion, we will win, just as we won in the Venice Commission against 'Ramaforma'.

And on this occasion, don't forget that March 2nd is coming, and with it the 5th anniversary of that extraordinary, nationwide, patriotic rally in defense of the Constitution, thanks to which not only was 'Ramaforma' universally dismantled, as the offspring of all the anti-constitutional laws, contrary to the consensus of 140 votes according to the recommendations of the Venice Commission, but at the same time when we rejected and threw away, and abandoned the Lana oath law.

Therefore, I call on all members, supporters of the Freedom Party, all Albanians, patriots wherever they are, all towards May 11th.

"All our compatriots, register, participate in this historic challenge when the drug regime will be thrown to the ground like the Albanians of North Macedonia, the puppet regime of Soros a short time ago," Meta said. /CNA
