The member of the leadership of the Democratic Party, Grigels Muçollari, in a statement to the media, spoke about the mandarins with pesticides for which the Berat Prosecutor's Office arrested three people. Muçollari stated that the DP has engaged experts in the field for this case and will have a platform to solve this problem.

The member of the DP leadership said that the sale of tangerines that should have been destroyed is a state crime, which, according to Muçollari, is the responsibility of the AKU and the Ministry of Agriculture.

" 10 tons of tangerines were banned in December last year from Croatia, as harmful to health, due to the pesticides used. The Berat Prosecutor's Office is now investigating as it is suspected that those tangerines, the merchant, have reintroduced into our stores and that they have been consumed by us citizens. This is not the story of 3 or 4 evildoers who for a few million more violate the law and are ready to put our health and lives at risk. This is the repeated story of a state crime that has as its author the AKU, the Ministry of Agriculture and other responsible structures. Citizens pay taxes and maintain the National Food Agency and other offices to protect them.

The government has failed to provide food security. Edi Rama sees the AKU as a directorate to reward his patrons in justice, as was the last appointment. Food security is as important as national security. Therefore, SPAK must be seriously engaged in this direction. No one believes that the Berat Prosecutor's Office will go to the real responsible parties, which are the director of the AKU and the Minister of Agriculture. They must take care of the safety of the products from planting to their release on the market. The Democratic Party has engaged experts and experts in the field. We will have a complete platform to solve this problem. Our children, our families, must and will have guarantees for the food they receive, just like in EU countries, just like in Croatia, Greece, and Italy.
