The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has declared that the Russian lobbying file of Lulzim Basha has been closed by Prime Minister Edi Rama and Secretary Engjell Agaçi.

Berisha has denied that the Democratic Party has received any penny of Russian money, but has not denied the fact that Lulzim Basha has been accused by the justice system for this matter.

"The PD has not received a single penny, and it can never receive from a country that has positioned it and called it an enemy of the Albanian national issue.

It is true that its former head has been accused, for this a commission has been set up to investigate.

Do not forget that the file was closed by Rama and Agaçi. Just look at the closing decision and see how ridiculous they are, Rama knew they were Russian money. Did he do this to hold Basha hostage or for the Muzin file, this remains to be seen", declared Berisha from the Assembly./CNA.al
