Prime Minister Edi Rama, together with cabinet ministers, continued the tour of meetings with pensioners. Recently, he stopped in the city of Fier, where he once again warned the companies that there will be no tolerance for the real non-declaration of salaries.

The prime minister has also responded to the opposition's statements about indexation of pensions by 4.1%, clarifying that this is not an increase, but an indexation forced by law.

Rama also spoke about two objectives of the government in the fourth mandate, the integration of Albania into the EU and the greatest possible relief of the pensioners' breathing.

"The two objectives for the fourth term. The first is membership in the EU and the second is to ease the breathing of pensioners as much as possible, so that Albania in the EU is not only the Albania of all others who are of active age with opportunities bigger, where Albania is and where pensioners start the day more cheerfully. These are the two basic objectives of the fourth term and have no doubts", he said.

Among other things, Prime Minister Rama emphasized that for the pension scheme, Albania already has agreements with 20 countries, the most difficult of which was Italy, and that discussions continue to reach an agreement with Greece./ CNA
