Beler's first confrontation with Rama after leaving prison/ MEPs, meeting

This Tuesday, the delegation of MEPs of the European Parliament met with Prime Minister Edi Rama in the framework of the 18th meeting of the EU-Albania Stabilization-Association Parliamentary Committee, which was held without the presence of the media in a hotel where the MEPs were staying.

MEP Fredi Beleri was also present at this meeting. This is Beler's first encounter with Rama after his release from prison.

In his statements to the media, Beleri stated that his imprisonment was political, he was accused of buying votes in the local elections of 2023./ CNA
