Prime Minister Edi Rama has declared from Greece that no one from the ranks of the SP will be able to defend himself with the party's flag.

Rama said that justice is freed from the hands of power and there are no more untouchables.

This was a coded message for socialists who consider themselves untouchable and think they can control the new justice.

"Justice freed from the hands of political power.

To understand how new, how big and historic this is, you only have to look back, since 1912, you cannot find a high-profile person who has been convicted by the court. Justice has been feared and manipulated, today justice has been freed from the hands of the ruling party.

It is enough to remember Fatos Nano, who was sentenced by an independent justice and not even for illegal personal gains, but for an account of a party in power that ruined Albania without a thorn. Today this has come to an end. I am proud that we SP led a justice reform that wiped out a large part of the scum with the vetting and today is wiping out the tyranny of many years of scum.

None of the new EU countries have done such a reform before entering the EU. What is happening in Albania has not happened in the region nor in the countries that have opened negotiations before us. I am optimistic and full of faith, that we will move forward despite the blockades and our future in the EU is not far away, but it is all in our hands to bring it closer than the next 5 years.

I am not happy for personal reasons, but I am happy for the reason that I am proud that with a state-making vision and patriotic courage and iron political will, fully aware of the pain that such a reform would bring, the SP removed the hands of political power from the neck gave him the freedom to act, not to look left or right but only forward.

Today, the facts of a real fight against corruption are in front of you. Today I feel morally very good when I face you and I tell you this is a major reason why your vote next spring should be for SP so that what started with justice continues. Today, no one is invulnerable, anyone from our ranks can no longer defend himself with the SP flag on his head," said Rama./ CNA
