The Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament, at the same time Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, Taulant Balla, held a meeting with Albanian students and professionals in Thessaloniki.

In this meeting, their impressions and plans for returning to Albania were discussed, emphasizing the commitment to contribute to the development of the country.

During his speech, Balla praised the high quality of education received by Albanians in Thessaloniki and their professional efforts to excel.

"I have not found so far one who studied in Thessaloniki and is not at a very good level professionally. I am glad to make this visit to Thessaloniki here, among dozens of professionals. You have excelled in education, but you have not lost your close ties with Albania," said Balla.

The minister pointed out that Albania has become an increasingly attractive country, not only for tourism, but also for economic and professional opportunities.

"Today, Albania sits as an equal country at all international tables where it is invited. Albania has become attractive in economic terms as well. I do not hesitate at all to make you an offer to come and work in Albania", concluded Balla.

This meeting comes a day before the meeting announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama with the Albanian diaspora in Thessaloniki./ CNA
