McGonigal/Berisha dossier: Rama is deeply implicated in a corrupt espionage

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being deeply involved in a corrupt espionage affair related to the McGonigal case.

In a press conference from the DP headquarters, Berisha said that this file constitutes a criminal activity already proven, fully documented against Rama.

Berisha also touched on McGonigal's friendly ties with the prime minister and other people connected to him.

"I will return to the issue, which continues to make world news.

It continues to make world news, an issue in which the name of Edi Rama, the head of the Albanian narco-state criminal organization, is twisted in the most stigmatizing and repeated way.

The world's largest media outlets have returned these days with some of the most serious, most striking headlines about the friend who made Edi Rama proud with his friendship, Charles McGonigal.

Now his connections, along with Dorian Duçka and Edi Rama, as an unregistered Chinese agent, who exposed his country's operations against the enterprise of China's intelligence agencies and the payments of Edi Rama's advisor, Dorian Duçka.

In a word, Edi Rama is deeply involved in one of the biggest corruption and espionage scandals of all time.

The Inspector General's report, which for the published part, also has an edited part and we cannot talk about that, but for the published part, is mainly oriented towards the profile of his activity with the Chinese energy conglomerate and the foundation of this conglomerate, Dorian Duçka and Edi Rama.

So, a criminal activity already proven, fully documented for Edi Rama.

Edi Rama, as you know from other documents, is the person who, at McGonigal's request, revoked the license of a Russian company and gave it to another Russian company, and this is fully documented.

"Edi Rama used McGonigal against the Albanian opposition and paid him for these actions, as international media and American documents have reported, he paid him 225 thousand dollars," Berisha said. /CNA
