The chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, declared yesterday evening that he will fight nepotism in the party, raising hints that he will expel Monika Kryemadhi from the PL.

Meta was asked again about the exclusion of Kryemadhi during a press conference, where he said that he does not disqualify certain candidates.

He declared that nepotism must be put an end to, emphasizing that LSI and LRI have suffered the consequences of nepotism.

"When I talk about nepotism, I am not referring to a certain person, but a statutory solution before which we are all equal. We are talking about putting an end to the misuse of family ties, whether they do it unknowingly or the use of ties by other people. When we talk about nepotism, we are not only talking about PL but also about the Youth Movement, and not only for now but also in the next 100 years. Nepotism kills meritocracy.
