Rama surrenders to Duman: There is corruption, SPAK should continue the fight

Prime Minister Edi Rama surrendered to SPAK and its head Altin Dumani.

Rama has declared that SPAK must continue the fight against corruption at all levels and deepen it, after the blow it gave to the Municipality of Tirana, by putting the thieving directors of Erion Veliaj behind bars.

Rama emphasized that he has given clear messages to everyone.

"Let's not enter into this discussion about what one says and what the other says, because we are talking together here. I personally know that in the first place, when it comes to the government, I am very attentive and I have made constant changes in the government, I have given my messages very clearly to everyone. I have given clear messages with the government's moves and with other actions that have not always been related to issues that have had to do with concerns of this nature and on the other hand we have continued to reform and restructure and that is what they are talking about the figures.

So, that the fight against corruption should continue at all levels, this is not discussed, that it should be deepened, this is not discussed, that when there are events like this people should feel liberated that a weight that we had on our shoulders was lightened even that it has burdened us and that we have not identified and not created all this chaos, but we have nothing to do with this chaos, it is part of political life", said Rama. / CNA
