Since February 11, the Emergency Department of Tirana is out of order.

Regarding this problematic situation, denounced several times by CNA, Minister Albana Koçiu did not give any solution to the Health Commission. 

She praised the work of the white shirts and said that the Cardiology Emergency and the Internal Diseases Emergency at QSUT cannot provide any services, but citizens can go to the hospital in Shkodra, Fier, or the Sanatorium. 

According to her, these hospitals have the capacity to handle the flows. 

"The incident for which we were called today and are discussing showed that the standards, professionalism and quality of the medical service is the same throughout the country. The Regional Hospitals of Shkodra, the Memorial Hospital of Fier as well as the Shefqet Ndroqi Hospital Center are able to offer today the entire service and cope with the influx of services, because the Cardiology Emergency and Internal Medicine at QSUT cannot provide this service.
