At the meeting of the Presidency of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta said that the time has come to build a party with new foundations, where nepotism will be put to an end.

"The statute will build this party with new foundations by putting an end to nepotism, putting an end to the lack of responsibility, cacophony in management and leaving room for alibis and excuses for those who do not fulfill their obligations," said Meta. 

The leader of the PL called on anyone who wants to lead the Freedom Party to run at the April 27 Convention. In his speech, he proposed as Secretary for Tirana District, Erisa Xixhon, while secretary for Korça, Tedi Blushi.

"I invite anyone who has the desire to lead the PL better to run in the coming convention. I invite anyone who has a better platform to present it. This cannot be a two-driver force. Dualism was devastating for PD- when a third hand is put in the wheel and no one is responsible for the fate of the bus. Speed ??is needed, decision-making is needed, and the message is focused on the 5 priorities and a vertical decision-making in the implementation of every decision taken by the convention and all the forums afterwards", said Meta./ CNA
