Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi has reacted on social media regarding the burning of the fruit and vegetable market in Lushnje.

Korreshi said that according to initial information, the cause of the fire is suspected to be a spark and requested a full investigation by the authorities into the incident.

The Democrat stated that this market was poorly conceived from the beginning, which led to a protest.

 

"The goods of all the poor merchants have been burned. We do not know what happened and we ask the authorities to find out as soon as possible, but from the first information it is about a spark of fire either in the scales or in the charger. Rather, this market has been poorly conceived and logical, because from the beginning, at the beginning, there was a protest about the way it was covered, that during the summer season it has been more like a greenhouse and the fact showed that all the products, all the materials used here have been burned in a lightning and immediate way. Thank goodness that for the first time the fire service has extinguished them in time, that it has not left any further continuation, because the damages would have been colossal for all these merchants, who, the hard work of their calamari that they have had in these counters here, are really seeing it thrown into the stream.
