DP MP, Luciano Boçi, during his speech in the Assembly, stated that a special committee is not convened by order of the co-chair, as, according to him, happened the day before, but by agreement.

He called the majority's ultimatum to the opposition regarding participation in committees shameful. He said that if they have decided to turn Parliament into a penal colony for the opposition, let them do so.

"There are many committee chairs here and they know very well that a meeting is called by agreement. A special committee is called by order of a co-chair. Where has this been seen? There is no agreement. Let him challenge me to tell me that it was called by agreement of the co-chair."

"Where is the Parliament's regulation here?! This is shameful, as was the ultimatum at the Conference of Speakers. If you are going to turn Parliament into a penal colony for the opposition, do it," said Boçi./ CNA
