Democratic MP Saimir Korreshi expressed his criticism today regarding the new draft law "On the Supervisory Agency in the System of Execution of Criminal Decisions" that is being reviewed today in the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration.

In his speech, Korreshi said that although the country is taking many steps that bring it closer to European Union countries and practices, such an agency is not common, as among other things, there may be problems in the investigative part.

"We no longer have to mix the object of prison activity with what happens outside. I am also concerned about the investigative part, regarding pertinential violations. This will be territorial in scope and there will also be agencies in the districts. In what condition is it or in which of the packages that we are being asked to open and close with these chapters? We want a model that we are entering Europe. We are waiting impatiently. We died. We are done for this Europe! Now tell me which EU country has such an agency?", - said Korreshi./CNA
