Today's plenary session has started with debates on the Territorial Reform Commission. Democratic Party MP, Ina Zhupa, during her speech on the podium, said that the item on changing the Commission for this reform should be removed from the session's agenda. She said that the majority is acting in a way to preemptively fail the Territorial Reform as in 2013.

"Today, in point 13, you introduced a draft decision to amend the Assembly's decision on the Territorial Reform Commission. At the Conference of Speakers, there was no vote for or against such a decision. It was agreed that this would be postponed and we would have the opportunity to discuss the Territorial Reform. Something that was not voted on at the Conference of Speakers cannot be passed into the plenary session.

You once did the territorial reform in 2013 and saw that it was a failure. If you want a reform that serves the citizens, stick to the decision of the parliament to have co-chairmanship and equal members and to decide, respecting the Constitution, withdraw the decision that you have put on the agenda today without regulations. The SP cannot impose on the DP when the election will be held. Do not act unilaterally to fail the Territorial Reform in advance like in 2013, because the citizens will suffer the consequences” , said Zhupa. /CNA
