The former prime minister, Sali Berisha, in a meeting with economic experts and departments, said that this debate is taking place to present their analysis to the Albanians.

"What happens in the Parliament is the annihilation of political plurality. This year there is nothing but the strengthening of the power of the mafia that respects no law. With this whole situation, we are organizing this debate to present our analysis to the Albanians," said Rama.

According to him, the budget figures for education are so low and that not a penny is spent on scientific research, studies, libraries

"The budget figures for education are so low. Not a penny for scientific research, for studies, for libraries. No conqueror could behave in this way towards the country's universities. This budget has another serious problem. Consists of a shot. Thousands of offices are forced to close, thousands of services to close. Thousands take to the streets to secure their proper sustenance.
