Deputy Prime Minister Belina Balluku says that the time has come to create for Albanian entrepreneurs the opportunity to access funds and economic programs of the EU.

From the panel on EU instruments for Enterprises and Industrial Policies, where he was a part, Balluku said that the funds have been there all along, but that we do not have the infrastructure to support entrepreneurs in this process.

" Today, the moment has come for us to discuss with each other and work on building the infrastructure and appropriate instruments that will serve the business to access the funds of the economic programs of the European Union. Funds that are there, but unfortunately we have not had an infrastructure to support and guide our entrepreneurs in this new process for Albania. This is the moment to collaborate and create the opportunity for you to access all these programs." - said Balluk.

The Deputy Prime Minister announced that there is already a package of 6 billion euros which can be accessed by Albanian entrepreneurs through grants and loans.

"One of the programs that is already open and very important is the 'Groëth Plan' which is a package of 6 billion euros which will be accessed through grants and loans. On the other hand, it should be borne in mind that a very important program is "Horizon" which has an availability of 95.5 billion euros which through competition, projects and through various instruments can be accessed by private businesses to support their initiatives and projects theirs in different sectors" , said Balluku./ CNA
