Bindja Democratica will compete alone in the May 14 elections/ The commanding coordinator of the party is chosen

Bindja Democratica has announced that it will compete alone in the local elections that will take place on May 14.

"In the conditions of an unprincipled conflict within the main forces of the opposition, which has made it impossible to create a common front against the government, Bindja Demokratike can compete alone in these elections," the announcement states. 

It has also been decided that Fabian Topollaj will be the coordinator of the party until the end of the local elections.

" Bindja Demokratike started intensive preparations for the May 14 local elections yesterday, with the main objective being representation in all 61 municipalities of the country.

Its Board of Directors, which met in Elbasan, decided that, in the conditions of an unprincipled conflict within the main opposition forces, which has made it impossible to create a common front against the government, the Democratic Persuasion will compete alone in these elections.

The need of the Albanian society for a new oppositional alternative as the political identity of the Democratic Persuasion was defined as the campaign motive of every candidate, in every municipality of Albania.

The meeting also decided to command Fabian Topollajn as the party's coordinator, until the end of the local elections", the announcement states./ CNA.al
