"I do private trips at my own expense"/ Rama talks about chartered

The 50 charter trips of Prime Minister Edi Rama and others have been described as a scandal by the head of the DP, Sali Berisha, who has called on the Prime Minister to resign.

Berisha has mentioned the millions of Lek expenses that, according to him, have been spent by Rama with airplane-taxi.

But, according to Rama, the trips were at private expense and not at the expense of the state.

 "You have probably heard that I have a taxi that flies and that costs you Albanians millions of euros. Back to my taxi, it is true that since 2020 we have made an agreement with Air Albania for the interest of Albania to have a plane for business trips. I make private trips at my own expense," said Rama. /CNA.al
