Binaj, the opposition candidate for Tirana/Shehaj, opposes: The representative

The leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, has spoken out against Florian Binaj's candidacy for Tirana mayor. Shehaj stated that the election of the opposition candidate should have come after conducting a survey for the best representative.

He emphasized that only through this method can the best representative candidate be selected and it cannot be done by guesswork. 

"Our goal, we said from day one, was not for us to impose the name. We were not interested in the name. We were interested in having a process to have the best candidate, to give Tirana an uncorrupted mayor. There is only one way to do this, as all Western parties do when they want to choose the best candidate, which is to conduct a survey. Only through a survey are you sure that the candidate you are putting forward is the best. We cannot know. We cannot do it by guessing, if this one is the best or if that other one is the worst."
