Nisma Thurje has today declared public support for Florjan Binaj's candidacy in the race for Mayor of Tirana.

Today, the Presidency of the Weaving Initiative decided to support the independent candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Florian Binaj, in these elections.

This decision is mainly related to the values ??that Florian Binaj has shown throughout all these years of activism.

As an activist, Flori has shown his commitment to always be on the side of the citizens. We have protested with him in defense of the National Theater, in defense of the Vjosa River, in protests against price increases and many other social injustices.

As a journalist, Flori has shown the courage to denounce corruption. He has spoken openly, without filters. In a city where propaganda has replaced truth, his voice has remained pure and independent.

Tirana needs a new spirit, for people who are not part of the system that has ruined it.
Therefore, we are convinced that as mayor, Flori will give hope to Tirana and all of Albania.

As municipal councilors, it would be our job to work with Mayor Florian Binaj to provide food in schools, public transportation, and to turn Tirana into a city that belongs to the majority, not the interests of the minority. /CNA
