Berisha heads to SPAK/ Appears for the first time for testimony

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has left his home for SPAK, where he will testify about the "Partizani" file.

Berisha was accompanied by police officers, who arrived at his apartment this morning.

As his daughter, Argita Malltezi, warned yesterday, Berisha is appearing for the first time in SPAK.

We remind you that Berisha is under house arrest. The Special Prosecutor's Office accuses the former prime minister of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in cooperation with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi./ CNA
