"The battle continues, the battle without return". This is what former Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared after he left his apartment and headed towards SPAK. 

He left the apartment in his private vehicle, but was accompanied by a police car. 

The head of the DP will be questioned by the prosecutors regarding the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex, for which the court has given the security measure "house arrest". 

The testimony session was scheduled last week, but the lawyers of the chief democrat requested its postponement, arguing that Berisha could not be present for objective work and family reasons.

The Special Court accepted the requests of the lawyers and postponed the hearing for this Tuesday, while the hearing for Jamarbër Malltez will be held on January 25.

Berisha is under house arrest. SPAK accuses the former prime minister of "passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", carried out in cooperation with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi./ CNA
