Former president Bamir Topi criticized Prime Minister Edi Rama for the statement made regarding the murder of a 14-year-old boy in Tirana by a peer.

Topi said in an appearance to the media that Rama's speech was irritating, since he did not apologize to the Albanians.

He stated that Rama mourned the death of the minor with great hypocrisy.

"I heard the prime minister, this is your excellency, the most prominent postmortem mourner we have. After this story happens, it says that everything does in the next 20 months and does not start with a big apology. These outputs are irritating. It is the postmortem mourner with a great measure of hypocrisy. I would not have spoken like this if the 14-year-old had not lost his life.
