Minister Niko Peleshi "shot" the opposition during the discussions on the 2025 budget in the Assembly.

Peleshi said that the rhetoric of the opposition, which opposes the budget, is without color, without vision and without content.

He stated that the denial of budgetary and economic indicators even when they are certified by international institutions, is not opposition.

"We are aware that the opposition is not here to support the budget, but blacking out everything, denying budgetary and economic indicators even when they are certified by international institutions we work with is not opposition. There is always room to do better , so the opposition has a very wide range of its alternatives. I heard only 1 member of the opposition today who offered his idea for the pension scheme, which for me should be taken in consideration. 

The rest was political nihilism. This nihilism made the rhetoric of the opposition colourless, visionless and contentless. I heard them say that the budget has no narrative, no vision. But the vision in this budget is clear. Let me bow with great respect to the most beautiful and precise speech today, which was Mrs. Bozo's speech on scientific research and the role of science in the economy. We have a law to encourage innovation, we have distributed 3 million euros for 100 start-ups in our country," the minister emphasized. / CNA
